Honor 8x goes official in India, price starts from Rs. 14999

Today Huawei’s Honor brand has announced a new mid-range smartphone in India and named it as Honor 8X. This handset was first announced in China on September and also available to buy. The manufacturer claims this device is the successor version of Honor 7X which was released in 2017. The dual texture back and glassy finish design on Honor 8X will add the premium look to this device.

Honor 8X Pricing:

The launch price of Honor 8X in India are Rs. 14,999 (4GB + 64GB), Rs. 16,999 (6GB + 64GB) and Rs. 18,999 (6GB + 128GB). From October 24 onwards this handset will be available to grab in India via amazon retailer. It arrives in three colors black, blue and red.

Honor 8X Specs:

Honor 8X features 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a small notch (19.5:9 aspect ratio) on the top. The front and back area of this handset has been covered by 2.5D curved glass. It runs on android 8.1 oreo os and uses custom EMUI 8.2 skin. It equipped with Kirin 710 chipset, octa core processor and GPU Turbo (to boost gaming performance). It arrives in three variants 4GB + 64GB, 6GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB. In addition to that it also has dedicated slot for microSD card (up to 400 GB).

It has dual main camera lens 20MP + 2MP at back and a 16MP single selfie camera at front. Down to the rear camera they’ve placed the fingerprint key with faster unlocking speed. Other connectivity features are WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, Dual 4G, Face Unlock, GPS, Micro USB and more. It packed with 3750 mAh non-removable battery that can standby for a day usage.
