Alcatel Idol 4 and Idol 4s features leaked in official support page

Ahead of MWC 2016 event, Alcatel has revealed the features of upcoming successor smartphones in Idol series – Idol 4 and Idol 4S. The features of these are listed at official alcatel support page. But now they have removed the technical specifications from their official site. Alcatel may officially reveal the more details about these two mobiles at MWC 2016 event this month. At official launch they will announce the price and global availability of these smartphones.

The idol 4 has 5.2-inch full HD (1080p) display, dual nano sim slot, android 6.0 marshmallow os and 4G LTE network. It will come with qualcomm snapdragon 617 chipset and octa core processor for faster performance. It will be available in 16GB internal storage with 3GB and 2GB RAM models. It also has expandable microSD card (up to 512 GB) support. It has 13MP rear camera with dual tone flash and 8MP selfie camera. It includes NFC, wifi, OTG, bluetooth 4.2, A-GPS and more connectivity features. It has 2610 mAh battery with quick charging support.

On the other hand, the idol 4S will come with upgraded hardware features. Compared to idol 4, it has upgraded 5.5-inch AMOLED display with QHD (2560x1440) resolution. It also runs on same android 6.0 marshmallow os version .Unlike idol 4, it will be powered by qualcomm snapdragon 652 chipset and octa core processor. The storage and RAM for idol 4s handset are 32GB and 3GB. The rear camera upgraded to 16MP, but they didn’t change the selfie camera (8MP). The connectivity features are similar to idol 4 smartphone. They have increased the battery capacity to 3000 mAh which also include quick charging technology.
