Acer unveiled Liquid E1 and C1 devices in January 2013.Now Acer announced the new entry level Android phone, the Acer Liquid Z2.This is the Pre announcement of MWC. The Acer Liquid Z2 is runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and powered by a dual-core 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage. The display is a 3.5" HVGA unit. It also features a special Quick Mode, which simplifies the interface with big icons that helps the smartphone perform faster.

It also features the 3G connectivity, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, A-GPS, FM Radio, SRS Sound enhancement on board and a 3MP or 5MP camera. There two single SIM and Dual-SIM versions available. The dimension is 110 x 62.5 x 12.25 mm, weight is 110g and 1,300mAh battery.

The smart phone has a support of Acer Cloud application that helps to operate and makes Internet browsing, photography, and listening to music a breeze.

The Acer Liquid Z2 priced at €100 to €130 ($134 to $175). Asda in the UK started the pre-order for £90 (€100) and expects to ship out orders on February 28.The Acer Liquid Z2 will be available at first in France, Belgium, Netherlands and Ukraine, Russia, UK and Italy. Liquid E1 is also available in above region at first. The price is €199-€229 ($270-$310). Acer also extends the availability of powerful Liquid E1 which was announced on January.
