US Cellular Galaxy S3 Jelly Bean update available on December 21 2012

All the major U.S. carriers Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint and AT&T have been offering jelly bean upgrade for Samsung Galaxy S3 in US except the US cellular. Finally US Cellular has announced that the Samsung Galaxy S3 will be receiving the Jelly Bean update from 21st of December. US Cellular Galaxy S3 is the last device to receive the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update.

The OTA update of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update will be available on coming Friday December 21, 2012.User cannot upgrade via OTA  can try upgrading their device via PC over USB using Samsung kies software. The Update includes improved notifications, Project Butter, Google Now which provides card updates for sports games, the weather, your traffic and more, Google search app, the notifications menu, Google’s top-notch voice search engine, and update also includes enhancement in Camera, Calendar, Browser and much more.

The Update instructions for Galaxy S3 via KIES or over the air  will be available at US Cellular's update page .The US cellular announces that it is prepared to offer the long-awaited Jelly Bean update to Galaxy S3 owners starting this Friday. The update is free which means that owners are can be install it whenever it becomes available.

According to the US cellular post on twitter “More great news! On 12/21, the Jelly Bean update comes to the @SamsungMobileUS Galaxy S III. Stay tuned for the upgrade link on Friday!” the update is confirmed.
