Sprint’s Galaxy Note 9 getting Android Pie update with One UI

Sprint owned Galaxy Note 9 users are started to receive Android Pie software update in US. It’s the second carrier in US pushing the android pie update, of course AT&T is the first one who released this update for Galaxy Note 9. The software update for note 9 carries new software version N960USQU1CSAA. According to the report, many sprint owned units have started to receive this update in US.

The update screenshot reveals that the roll out is happening as OTA and also confirms the changelog. This featured update weighs in huge 1840.05 MB (1.8GB), so use WiFi like strong connection to download this firmware. Android Pie update for galaxy note 9 brings several new features such as new Samsung One UI, Night mode, notification related enhancement, new Unicode 11.0 emojis, Always On Display, reorganized settings menu, Bixby tweaks, Samsung Dex related optimization and so on.

Along with this update, the firmware also installs the January month android security patch on this device. Usually, the OTA roll out will take some time or even days to reach all devices. If you own the sprint powered note 9 in your hand, try to check for the software update manually from Settings  menu. Right now the US carriers are seeding this firmware update and the Galaxy Note 9 unlocked units still didn’t receive this android pie update with Samsung One UI. But the roll out is not so far, soon the manufacturer will the confirm this update for unlocked units.
