Moto Z Play getting Android Oreo soak test in U.S

Finally, Motorola has started the Android 8.0 Oreo soak test on Moto Z Play handsets. This soak test is now available in U.S for unlocked units. Those who registered for MFN (Motorola Feedback Network) are currently getting this Oreo update. The oreo update for Moto Z Play arrives with new version OPN27.67. The oreo update for Moto Z Play brings new features like picture in picture mode, auto fill, smart text selection, enhanced booting speed, notification dots, adaptive icons and more are there. Along with this it also includes the December month security patch, camera improvements, stability tweaks and other bug fixes. The users who are receiving the soak test can share the issues faced by them in Android Oreo OS on feedback forums.

The screenshot clearly says they were rolling out this major software update via OTA. Not everyone is getting this update; it’s available only for MFN enrolled users. This is a major update. Once the bugs are solved on soak test, Motorola will release the stable version of Oreo in the upcoming days.
