Microsoft Lumia 640 available for preorder in UK

At MWC 2015 Microsoft mobiles launched their new windows powered Lumia smartphones with 3G and 4G/LTE network support. The lumia 640 LTE dual version is now up for preorder in UK online retailers like MobileFun, Microsoft Store, Unlocked Mobiles, and Clove. Microsoft official store listed this handset for 169.99 pounds which will release on April 7, 2015. But the unlocked mobiles store will deliver this handset from April 1 as a Sim-free version at a price of 149.98 Pounds. The MobileFun and Clove technology retailers offer this smartphone for 150 pounds.

The lumia 640 lte version has 5-inch HD IPS display with damage resistant corning gorilla glass 3. It has Windows 8.1 OS with lumia denim, 1.2 GHz quad core processor, qualcomm snapdragon 400 chipset and 1 GB RAM. It comes with 8 GB internal memory which can be expandable up to 128 GB via SD card. Microsoft also offers 30 GB more cloud storage for users via OneDrive. It also has 8 Megapixel rear camera and 0.9 Megapixel front camera. The camera also includes LED flash, Full HD (1080p) video recording, lumia camera, lumia selfie and more. The handset has 2500 mAh removable battery with 36 days of standby time and 9 Hrs of video playback back time. It will be available in four optional colors black, white, blue and orange.
