Huawei Mate 20 Pro pricing and release date announced for India

For the past few weeks, Huawei has posted many teasers about the arrival of Mate 20 Pro handset for Indian market. As per the schedule, today the manufacturer has officially introduced this flagship device to India through a special launch event. In this event Huawei has revealed the pricing and exact availability of this handset, also confirmed that it will be exclusive to amazon retailer.

Huawei Mate 20 Pro will go for sale in India from December 3 for Prime members, while others can grab this device from December 4 onwards. The launch price of Mate 20 Pro in India is Rs. 69,990. Optionally the users can grab this handset and Sennheiser PXC550 wireless headphone (worth Rs.29,990) bundle at a special price of Rs. 71,990.

Huawei Mate 20 Pro Specs:

This handset features 6.39-inch OLED display with QHD+ (3120 x 1440) screen resolution, it also compatible with HDR compliant and the aspect ratio of the display is 19.5:9. It will be pre-installed with android 9.0 pie os and uses EMUI 9.0 custom skin on top. This handset uses Huawei’s own chipset HiSilicon Kirin 980 and octa core processor. For India this device comes with 6GB RAM, 128GB of internal storage and further you can expand this memory up to 256GB (NM card only) with hybrid sim slot.

Talking about camera, it has triple main cameras at back 40MP + 20MP + 8MP, each one has unique behavior. For selfie lovers they’ve added 24MP front camera, with that you can take perfect low light selfies. Additionally the front camera can also be used to unlock the device with your face.

Looking for fingerprint, it has been embedded within the display and it helps to unlock your device faster. Other preloaded features are IP68 water & dust resistant, dual speakers, NFC, WiFi, Dual VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, Type-C USB and so on. Coming to battery, it has 4200 mAh embedded battery that compatible with 40W SuperCharge and 15W Qi wireless fast charge. It could be world’s first handset that support wireless reverse charging feature. Available Color options are Black, Green, Midnight Blue and Twilight.
