Earlier this December, Asus has unveiled Zenfone Max Pro M2 successor smartphone in Indian market. At launch event, Asus has confirmed that this handset will receive the software update within this December. As scheduled, they were started to seed the first software update for Zenfone Max Pro M2. Also India will be the first region to get this latest firmware update.
The update carries the new version for zenfone max pro m2 – 15.2016.1811.177. This firmware update brings November month security patch, camera effect related tweaks, audio quality update, fingerprint update, Touch firmware update, display edge enhancements and other bug fixes.
Asus now rolling out this new software update via OTA and it will reach your device within few days. If you can’t wait for the automatic OTA prompt, then download the image file that available on official site. The size of OTA update will be in 458.11 MB, while the zip file weighs around 1.62 GB. For manual update (via image file) you want to paste the downloaded file on root directory and the automatic pop-up will lead you for the installation process.
