Asus Zenfone 5z getting Android 9 Pie update globally

Few weeks back, Asus has rolled out Android 9 Pie update to Zenfone 5zhandset but its limited to Taiwan region. Now they’ve expanded this android pie software roll out to global markets, including India. This software update has been official confirmed by the Asus via its Zentalk forum. As well as they’ve also attached the OTA zip file with this thread. According to the forum, the android pie update for zenfone 5z brings new software version 90.10.138.175.

This featured update weighs around 1080.11 MB (1GB) and it will available for download via OTA. The company says this update will install the latest security patch, but they didn’t specify the month (either December or January). Apart from this security patch, it brings some exciting android pie features such as adaptive battery, app actions, Digital wellbeing, newly added magnifier, adaptive brightness, gesture navigation and so on.
